This official kiln ear bottle is 17 centimeters high, 6.5 centimeters in diameter and 6.5 centimeters in bottom diameter. It is a legacy of ancestors and passed down from generation to generation.

Ru kiln, Jun kiln, Ge kiln, Guan kiln and Ding kiln were known as the five famous kilns at that time. Official kiln is a kiln set up by the central government, which specializes in firing imperial porcelain, many of which are antique-style furnishings. This official kiln ear-piercing bottle is modeled after the ancient bronze pot throwing. It has a straight mouth and wide abdomen. The cylinder-shaped ear-piercing bottle side corresponds to the rectangular holes on both sides of the foot and can be pierced through the tie belt. The glaze of this bottle is thick and graceful. It is a treasure of Song Dynasty porcelain.

As the name implies, the official kiln is a porcelain kiln established under the direct control of the imperial court. The products are specially designed for royalty and special firing. The official kiln in the true sense began to appear in the Northern Song Dynasty. Before that, the Royal Empire used the best kilns from all over the country, even using tribute porcelain. Gong Porcelain, therefore, is also regarded as the germination of the official kiln. From the kilns of the existing official kilns of the Beijing Palace Museum and the Taipei Palace Museum, the whole Song Dynasty included Ru kiln, Jun kiln in the Northern Song Dynasty, Sunesi kiln in the Southern Song Dynasty and Jiaotan kiln in the suburbs. With the establishment of the Southern Song Dynasty, the number of ceramics for court use and sacrificial ceramics for suburban altars increased greatly, and the first official kiln was established in Xiunisi in the Southern Song Dynasty. Shortly afterwards, a new kiln was erected under the "suburban altar" (recorded in the Song Dynasty's Tanzhai Biheng). However, the site of Xiunie Shiguanyao kiln has not been found up to now. Xiunie Shiguanyao kiln was built for the special needs of the royal family in the early Southern Song Dynasty. It did not last long, but its products were extremely delicate and cherished by the world.

On June 28, 2004, a Song Guanyao circular kiln with a diameter of 8.4 cm was sold at 264,000 yuan; August 13, 2005. A 9.8 cm high Song Guanyao ear-piercing bottle was traded at 638,000 yuan, and a Song Guanyao flower mouth plate was traded at 528,000 yuan on December 12, 2005. In April 2008, a "Southern Song Dynasty official kiln pink blue glazed paper mallet bottle" was sold for HK$67.53 million, setting a world auction record for Song Porcelain at that time.
