aunt前面加a还是an 冠词a和an的用法区别

aunt前面加an 。在元音字母的前面要用an ，其余的前面要用a 。元音字母是：a、e、i、o、u 。冠词a和an一般用在可数单数名词或其修饰词前，在以元音开头的名词或其修饰词前用an；在以辅音开头的名词或其修饰词前用a 。这里所说的元音和辅音是指读音，而不是元音字母、辅音字母。

用法1、aunt指与父母亲同辈的女性亲属，即父母亲的姐妹“姑母，姨母”或父母亲兄弟的妻子“伯母，婶母，舅母” 。与其对应的阳性名词是uncle 。
2、aunt用于口语中还常指小孩对成年女邻或父母亲的朋友、同事中的成年女性的称呼。
3、aunt是普通名词，但当其与表示人名的专有名词连用时，首字母须大写。
